How to Get Your Plate in Shape... if you're concerned about carbs

Here is a little story for you, tonight I think I almost made my Dad fall from his chair when I informed him that fruit is a carbohydrate. So to answer some questions...
Is fruit a carbohydrate?
Yes.
Should I still eat fruit?
YES!
And if you need more than my opinion, here are some resources that I hope you will find helpful.

And as a plus, I have a little recipe from my Momma.
Baked Apples
(We eat these for dessert all the time and they are WONDERFUL)

Take your favorite type of apple and cut it in half. Core the apple and remove the stem. Place a few (about 5 or 6) raisins or golden raisins in the middle where the core used to be. Sprinkle with cinnamon, about 1/4 tsp for each full apple (2 halves)
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Enjoy!
One apple serves 2, they are perfect for a date to split a sweet apple for two :)
