Sorry for my absence and delay in posting, we have been without internet for a few days and are paying for an hour of use right now. So here we go with the updates!

I forgot to mention that we went to a museum on the 5^th! It was a local museum in Mainz but it was quite a bit larger than I expected. It was 3 levels and each level on average had 3 or 4 rooms. It had everything from old furniture to religious statues to paintings. Each room seemed to have a mix of all these depending on the era. Much of the art was from the area over the centuries. It was somewhat difficult because the explanations were all in German but everything was still beautiful, if not slightly overwhelming.

We also went inside The Dom, a church in the square. (I believe there are some pictures of it in past blogs but I will post one here too.) It was quite large and beautiful but also somewhat eerie. It did have large painting of Bible stories that I loved. This church is in the square that I love so I kept dragging Eric back there.
